Why use hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy can help an individual to identify and resolve a range of emotional or psychosomatic problems. It is effective in helping people deal with the effects of negative experiences that may have been experienced in adulthood or childhood. Typically, the effects of these negative experiences can cause emotional or social behavioural problems, which may be difficult for a person to manage and can inhibit their progress either socially or at work.

Diana Hobbs specialises in Analytical Hypnotherapy. Using hypnosis, Diana is able to help identify and resolve emotional, behavioural or psychosomatic problems that may be inhibiting a persons’ progress in life.

How does it work?

Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis to help calm the conscious mind and allow the sub-conscious mind to move into a heightened state of awareness. In this extremely relaxed state the sub-conscious mind comes to the fore and any negative thoughts or beliefs, which are inhibiting a person’s progress in everyday life, can be identified, updated or off-loaded.

Hypnotherapy is a relaxed and painless experience and is now recognised by a large section of the medical profession as an effective means of resolving a wide range of emotional and psychosomatic problems.
